Opening ceremony of the B2 Vietnamese language course for Chinese international students – Cohort 1, Academic year 2026–2027

On October 5 ^th 2026, the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language at Ton Duc Thang University held the opening ceremony of the B2 Vietnamese language course for Chinese international students, officially marking the beginning of their journey of learning and practicing Vietnamese at Ton Duc Thang University in during the 2026–2027 academic year.

At the opening session, the international students had the opportunity to meet one another and become familiar with their new learning environment. They were introduced to essential information about the training program, learning content, rules and classroom. In addition, they were guided on how to use modern facilities and services at Ton Duc Thang University, including the dormitory, library, canteen, convenience store, and integrated sports training area.

The course will last for eight months, with the aim of providing international students with a solid foundation in Vietnamese and comprehensively developing their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, ensuring Vietnamese language proficiency equivalent to Level B2 (Level 4/6) under the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners.

In particular, in the warm and friendly atmosphere of the gathering, the Center presented the Chinese international students with small gifts as a gesture of encouragement and support for their studies. Although simple, these gifts are expected to provide additional motivation for the students to maintain a positive, proactive, and confident spirit throughout their upcoming journey of mastering Vietnamese.

The Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language believes that the Chinese international students will have many memorable learning experiences, make steady progress, maintain a strong commitment to their studies, and gain confidence in using Vietnamese, while quickly adapting to the dynamic learning environment at Ton Duc Thang University.
