Opening Ceremony of the Vietnamese preparatory program – Phase 1, Academic year 2026–2027

On October 16 ^th 2026, the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language at Ton Duc Thang University held the Opening Ceremony of the Vietnamese preparatory program – Phase 1, Academic year 2026–2027, with the participation of international students from Laos, Cambodia, India, China, and Bulgaria.

At the ceremony, the international students were introduced to the training program, study plan, and regulations during their studies at the University. In addition, they had the opportunity to learn about the facilities, services, and learning environment at Ton Duc Thang University, including the library, sports facilities, student clubs, as well as cultural and language exchange activities with the University's students.

According to the study plan, the international students will participate in an eight-month Vietnamese language training program, with an expected learning outcome equivalent to B2 level under the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners (CEFR B2). During the program, the international students will be equipped with the necessary Vietnamese language knowledge and skills to meet the requirements for pursuing Vietnamese-medium academic programs at Ton Duc Thang University in the following academic years.

The Opening Ceremony took place in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, marking the beginning of the international students' Vietnamese language learning journey at Ton Duc Thang University. It was also an opportunity for the international students to become familiar with their new learning environment, connect with friends from different countries, and prepare for their upcoming academic journey.

The Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language wishes all international students many meaningful experiences, success in their studies, continuous improvement in their Vietnamese language skills, and many positive achievements throughout their studies at Ton Duc Thang University.
