Opening Ceremony for the Vietnamese Language Training Course for Korean students from the K-Move School Project, phase 3/2024

In the afternoon of December 23rd, 2024, Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language (VSLC) held the opening ceremony for the Vietnamese language training course for 23 Korean students from K-Move School Project of the 3 rd phase in 2024.

The 5-months course aims to equip students with essential skills to achieve the B2 level according to the CEFR framework, enabling them to communicate confidently in real-life situations.

The Opening ceremony took place in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere, fueled by the excitement of the Korean students participating in the Vietnamese language training course.

The ceremony was attended by Ms. Nguyễn Thị Diệu Thu, M.A - Manager of the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language; Ms. Lee Nayoung and Mr. Song Kangik - Management representative of the K-Move School Project from the partner side; Vietnamese language teachers from VSLC and the Korean students.

Manager of the Center congratulated the students on their successful enrollment in the K-Move School Project and encouraged them to put forth their best efforts in the upcoming learning journey.

During the ceremony, the Korean students were introduced to the curriculum, academic regulations, and various student services offered by Tôn Đức Thắng University. These include access to a modern library, participation in sports clubs, and opportunities to engage in cultural and language exchange activities with the university's students.

After the ceremony, the Korean students, accompanied by Ton Duc Thang University students, toured the campus to learn about study experiences at the university and explore the student services available.

The Opening ceremony marked a promising beginning for the Korean students' journey to mastering the Vietnamese language in the upcoming months.
