Nelson-Texas University students immerse themselves in Vietnamese Language at the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language (VSLC), Ton Duc Thang University

In the summer of 2025, the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language (VSLC) at Ton Duc Thang University had the pleasure of hosting a group of international students from Nelson-Texas University, USA, for an intensive three-week Vietnamese language learning course.

The program was specially designed to go beyond the basic of the Vietnamese alphabet and tones, practicing daily communication. Students were familiarized with essential sentence patterns for greetings, self-introduction, family and hobbies, ordering food, inquiring about prices, counting numbers, and telling time. These practical topics empowered the international students, boosting their confident when interacting with locals and significantly enriching their travel and cultural exchange experience in Vietnam.
