Opening Ceremony of the Vietnamese Language Preparatory Program, Phrase 1, Academic Year 2025–2026

In October 2025, the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language at Ton Duc Thang University officially held the opening ceremony of the Vietnamese Language Preparatory Program for international students from Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and China.

During the ceremony, the students were introduced to the program structure, academic regulations, and support services available while studying at Ton Duc Thang University, such as access to the modern library system, participation in sports clubs, and cultural and language exchange activities with university students.

According to the study plan, the international students will attend an 8-month Vietnamese language training program, with an expected learning outcome of CEFR B2. The program aims to equip students with the necessary Vietnamese language knowledge and skills to meet the language requirements for enrolling in Vietnamese-taught academic programs at Ton Duc Thang University in the following academic year.

The ceremony concluded in a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere. The international students expressed their excitement about beginning their Vietnamese language learning journey at Ton Duc Thang University and showed strong determination to improve their language proficiency and deepen their understanding of Vietnamese culture in the time ahead.
