Enrollment Notice: 2026 Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test Preparation Courses

The Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language offers specialized preparation courses for international learners who plan to take the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test (VLPT) 2026. These courses are designed to help learners improve their Vietnamese language skills while developing effective strategies for success in the official proficiency examination.

1. Placement and Course Selection

Before joining the course, candidates will take a VLPT Placement Test to assess their current level of Vietnamese proficiency. Based on the results, learners will be placed in one of two preparation courses: the A2–B1 Preparation Course, which focuses on strengthening fundamental language skills, or the B2–C1 Preparation Course , which aims to enhance advanced language proficiency and test performance.

2. VLPT Preparation Courses

A2–B1 Preparation Course

Course focus	vocabulary expansion, essential grammar review, listening comprehension, reading strategies, paragraph writing, basic speaking tasks
Test preparation focus	understanding test format, practicing typical question types, developing time-management strategies
Expected proficiency level after the course	B1–B2

Assessment during the course	practice exercises, mini mock tests, teacher feedback

B2–C1 Preparation Course

Course objectives	To enhance advanced language skills and develop strategies for high-level performance in the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test
Course focus	understanding test format, advanced reading comprehension, academic vocabulary, structured writing, extended speaking tasks, critical listening
Test preparation focus	practicing advanced test tasks, improving accuracy and fluency, mastering test strategies
Expected proficiency level after the course	B2–C1
Skills covered	Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking
Assessment during the course	mock test practice, speaking evaluation, writing feedback

3. Preparation Course Schedule

Each preparation course is strategically timed to conclude just before the corresponding VLPT exam date.
