Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language Successfully Organizes a Short-Term Vietnamese Language Program for a Delegation of Korean Students
On January 16, 2026, the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language (VSLC) at Ton Duc Thang University successfully completed a Vietnamese language training program for a group of 23 students from various universities and colleges in South Korea, including Mokpo National University, Sunchon National University, Cheongnam College, and Suncheon Jeil College.
With the training philosophy that “language is a bridge to culture,” the program focused on practical communication skills such as greetings, self-introduction, talking about family and hobbies, ordering food, and asking about prices. These lessons were designed to effectively support students’ real-life experiences during their stay in Vietnam.
After just one week of study and practice, students shared that they were able to confidently introduce themselves in Vietnamese. A student from Mokpo National University enthusiastically commented, “Every day of learning was interesting and made us love the Vietnamese language even more.”
The Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language (VSLC) sincerely appreciates the trust of its Korean partners and hopes that this program will serve as a solid foundation for students to continue exploring the Vietnamese language and culture in the future.
