Opening Ceremony of Vietnamese Language Training course for Korean students from K-move School Project
On July 24, 2024, the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language organized the Opening Ceremony of Vietnamese Language Training course for 24 Korean students from K-move School Project, a program funded by the Korean government to globalize Korean youth by improving their foreign language skills, career skills, and cultural understanding, as well as supporting employment abroad. The course will last for five months, with Vietnamese language proficiency output standards equivalent to level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The Opening Ceremony took place in an exciting atmosphere. In addition to the 24 Korean students participating in the Vietnamese language training course, teachers in charge of teaching and Ton Duc Thang university students,there was also the participationofNguyen Thi Dieu Thu, M.A-Managerof the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language, and Mr. Kang Songik - management representativeof the K-Move School Project.
Combined with the opening ceremony was an orientation program. During the program, the Korean students was introduced to the curriculum, informed about study rules and regulation, and made aware of convenient services available during their studies at Ton Duc Thang University, such as using the modern library, participating in sports clubs, and engaging in cultural and language exchanges with the University's students.
Before the end of the program, the Koreanstudentsalso had the opportunity to visit the campus with Ton Duc Thang Universitystudents. Through this visit, the Korean students were able tobesharedlearning experiencesin Ton Duc Thang universitybythe University's students and learn more about the available student amenities.
The Opening Ceremony ended successfully, leaving many memorable moments and inspiring exciting learningfor the Korean students in theupcoming course.
