Opening Ceremony of the Vietnamese Language Training Course for Korean Students under the K-Move School Project Program – Batch 1, 2026
On July 7, 2026, the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language at Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the opening ceremony for the Vietnamese language training course for Korean students participating in the K-Move School Project Program – Batch 1, 2026.
This is the first K-Move training course of 2026 deployed by the Center, following the success of the previous five courses held during 2024–2025. The sustainable partnership between the Center and Korean partners not only confirms the high training quality of the Center but also contributes to effectively supporting young Korean students as they equip themselves with the necessary language skills and cultural insights before studying, working, and living in Vietnam.
The opening ceremony took place in a solemn yet intimate atmosphere with the presence of Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Thu – Head of the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language, representatives of the K-Move School Project from the Korean partner, and all the participating students.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Thu delivered her welcome remarks to the students joining the course. She also encouraged them to adopt a proactive spirit, actively participate in classroom activities, confidently communicate in Vietnamese, and make the most of the native-language learning environment to enhance both their linguistic competence and understanding of Vietnamese culture.
During the session, the Korean students were also introduced to an overview of the course, the training plan, class regulations, and learning facilities provided for learners at Ton Duc Thang University. Additionally, students learned about the university's modern infrastructure system.
Following the ceremony, the students went on a campus tour around Ton Duc Thang University, visiting key learning areas and the TDTU Inspire Library. These initial experiences in a modern, dynamic, and friendly learning environment left many positive impressions, while boosting the students' confidence and excitement before officially entering the academic program.
With extensive experience from successfully organizing multiple Vietnamese language training courses under the K-Move School Project Program, the Center for Vietnamese Studies and Language will continue to maximize its strengths in teaching Vietnamese to foreigners. The Center will also collaborate closely with Korean partners to continuously develop and innovate the program, ensuring it aligns with the training demands for Vietnamese language proficiency among Korean professionals and workers in the Vietnamese labor market in the coming time.
