Ton Duc Thang University has officially organized the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test

Ton Duc Thang University has officially been granted permission to organize Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test based on the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners.

On November 28, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was officially recognized by the Viet Nam Education Quality Management Agency as an institution authorized to organize Vietnamese language proficiency assessments according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners.

Since 2014, TDTU has provided Vietnamese language training for foreign learners. In addition to international students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the University annually receives 600 to 1,200 international attendances participating in short-term Vietnamese language courses and Vietnamese cultural exchange programs.

The Importance of the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Certificate

As Vietnam continues to attract a growing number of foreigners coming to live and work, proficiency in Vietnamese has become essential. Consequently, Vietnamese language proficiency tests are drawing significant attention from the international community.

The Vietnamese Language Proficiency Certificate offers various opportunities for foreigners who intend to study, reside, or work in Vietnam. Academically, the certificate is a prerequisite for admissions at many reputable universities in Vietnam. TDTU plans to organize the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test for foreigners starting from March 2026. The exam will not only meet the needs of international students and learners currently studying at TDTU but also address the increasing demand among the large number of foreigners living and working in Vietnam.
